Ahmad strives to empower women in every avenue of life. With an understanding that focused action has a stronger impact on change, she has chosen to tackle the substantial disproportionate Gallery representation of male artists compared to female artists. Her gallery is now proudly representing and supporting local female talent in ATX and beyond.

Our Gallery is ecstatic to participate in the 3rd annual Art04 Studio Tour! We, along with surrounding creative spaces in the 78704 neighborhood, will open our doors to the public for you to see where the magic of local art is made! A total of 15 spots, with our Gallery located within the hub of the tour with the largest number of participating artists → the Thornton Road Studios complex.
Come join Creative Paper Artist, Laurie Carswell, and cut + glue a pocket-view landscape at the Gallery!
You will learn how she has developed her techniques that have elevated collage into fine art. Whether you're an art enthusiast or a curious beginner, this workshop offers endless possibilities for personal expression through paper art.
