Updated: Mar 5

Kerri has a unique blend of artistic talent and design expertise makes her an inspiring addition to our gallery.

Using materials like acrylic, gold leaf, and paper weaving, Kerri draws inspiration from Hans Hofmann’s “push and pull” technique. Her layered, dynamic compositions evoke balance and emotion, creating stunning pieces that transform any space.

A Dynamic Background in the Arts

Kerri’s artistry is enriched by a multifaceted career as an educator, stylist, and creative leader. She has taught and refined her craft at some of Austin’s most celebrated institutions, including: the Blanton Museum of Art, the Contemporary, Austin-Laguna Gloria and Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum.

Kerri’s experience doesn’t stop at teaching. Her expertise extends to styling for Austin Monthly Magazine and leading innovative marketing initiatives for brands like Madewell. This versatile background informs her approach to design, allowing her to create curated spaces filled with texture, balance, and a personal touch. Kerri’s work is not just beautiful—it’s deeply inspiring and restorative.

We’re honored to showcase Kerri’s work at the Julie Ahmad Contemporary Art Gallery and invite you to explore her artistry for yourself.
