Hey guys! I am so proud + excited to announce the official opening of my new studio Julie Ahmad Art Studio + Gallery. This has been my labor of love for the past few months. It took lots of hard work, made with blood, sweat, and a few tears. But was #worthit! I wanted a place to create art, put on shows, and share in the space with other artists and the community. It truly has been a long time in the making and I am beyond grateful to be where I am right now.
A big thank you to all of my new clients, repeat customers, fellow artists + collaborators, and supporters. You inspire me to keep creating. I have so many plans for this space. Read on to find out what's coming up!
Without further ado, let's take a tour of the space.
Presenting a spacious 1250 square ft. warehouse at Thornton Road Studios!
Sleek lines, hanging pendant lights, track lighting, and blank walls gives it a modern industrial gallery feel! I always think the art should be the loudest thing in the room - leave it to the art to add color and texture.
I love having an open space to create in. Something about high ceilings and natural light puts me in the right headspace and mood to get into the creative flow. I am especially looking forward to the fall when it's cool enough to turn off the AC and open the garage door while I'm painting!
The space is meant to welcome guests complete with a bedroom loft, kitchenette, lounge area and full bathroom!!
I had so much fun settling in and adding the finishing touches.
Pink accent pillows + fresh flowers keep it lively in the lounge area! Plus, candles, snuggly throws + rugs, and coffee make it feel like home.
