Unplug to Connect is an original piece of artwork created by Julie Ahmad in 2022. I really love this piece and how much tranquility I felt while bringing her to life- there are a multitude of images that could come to mind when seeing the figures that lay on the canvas. Everyone needs to unplug after long days and I feel this painting reminds one to breathe, debrief, and focus on self-care in order to better connect with the world.
